OUR ETHOS:
The Play Pen aims to make a difference in the lives of young children between the age of 4 months and 5 years, by providing them with a safe environment in which to grow the confidence they need to equip themselves for their everyday encounters within the educational arena.
The Play Pen uses a multi-disciplinary and holistic approach to support and assist children in their development - physically, cognitively, socially and emotionally by addressing the uniqueness of each child in a nurturing environment.
Learning is facilitated and guided through play, experience, experimentation and exploration, encompassing a traditional child-centered methodology approach together with the more creative Maria Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches.
The intimate environment enables children to have individual attention concentrating on the child’s happiness, confidence and instilling in them a sense of high self worth and esteem.

EXPLORATION AND PLAY
We prioritise the safety and well being of every child in our care. Our premises are fitted with external CCTV surveillance and modern security systems and are overseen by trained professionals who ensure a safe, secure environment at all times.
In addition, our backup water tanks ensure uninterrupted operations, so our school remains fully functional and prepared no matter the circumstances.
All staff are trained and experienced in their field and offer gentle, kind and loving care, creating a secure environment where children feel valued, supported and confident. Through consistent, loving interactions, we nurture strong emotional bonds and build a foundation of trust that supports each child’s overall development.
Our safe and thoughtfully designed play spaces are filled with age appropriate toys and learning materials that spark curiosity and creativity. Every area is set up to encourage exploration, build confidence and support cognitive growth, as well as fine & gross motor development, all through play, hands on learning experiences.
NUTRITION AND FEEDING
We ensure that every child’s dietary needs are met, offering a variety of healthy, nourishing meals and snacks to keep them full of energy throughout the day.
